Very interesting observation. Viewed differently, i am amazed at how similar marriages and software are to each other:
Both are launched with much fanfare and parties. Both are heavily advertized. Both are full of bugs. Both have compatibility issues. Both need upgrades to be successful. Both are complex and need user guides.
