Being flexible ...

Sam asked - "Is being flexible perceivied as having no opinion at all?"

How many times we only have a slight preference as to where we want to eat or what we want to do. But sometimes we do not express it because we let other people decide as we are "okay" with what others have in their mind. But is our okay with everything gives an impression that "he/she will agree for anything or everything?".
Where is the line - line between being agreeable and looking like a pushover ?

"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings -- nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;"

I would consider 'flexible' as being open to others thoughts and likings and esp their dislikes... and then deciding if you wanna do something together or no...
'flexible' is defn not doing what others like, just to make them happy... so yeah being flexible does not mean having no opinion...

Well ... agreeing to a group's choice could also mean that the person has a strong 'opinion' that he/she does not want to impose on others.

I dont think one or two situations should lead one to make conclusions on a person's personality. Come on ... give him/her the benefit of doubt.
